Water Resources Management for Climate Change Adaptation


A joint teaching and research program on the subject of “WaTerResources Management for ClImate Change AdapTatiON (TRITON) is requested by the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), finnanced by German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
The goals of TRITON are: (1) the establishment of a training partnership between the TUM and the NTUA, as well as (2) the curricular cooperation in the joint course “Water Resources Management (WRM) for Climate Change Adaptation” and joint research projects with a special focus on ” Flood Management in a Changing Climate” through the establishment of an 1:1 program between TUM and NTUA. Introduction to the partner universities


The summer school “Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) to Confront Water Extremes In Europe: Design and Modelling Tools” will be held on September 5th – 6th in NTUA in Athens.

The workshop “Teaching and Research on Floods and Droughts in Europe” will be held on June 1st 2022 in Munich.
